Kiwi dollar is less then half a pound. Similar to the Linder Super Edge 2 (no longer available but was approx $250 NZ with a plastic sheath 4 years ago) at better prices. Video of it here;
Skoner $145
Pioneer $165
Pioneer Sheath knife weight only 147gms due to reduced internal tang size
Handle linear extenal pattern and textured for better grip and friction fit onto the blade tang, able to replace handle by removal of the pin and tap on a new handle.
Polymer is tougher and more scratch restsitant that Victorinox etc.
We tested the impact resistance using an hammer and the Victorinox deformed while the Pioneer engineered handle kept it's form.
Skoner folder uses axis lock like Benchmade and has G10 scales.
Both blades provide excellent edge retention with blade toughness for point strength.
Steels have shown to retain edges 3 times longer than Victorinox etc
Instead of the drop point the points are a spear point similar to Mercator folder spear point used to skin literally millions of possums in NZ back in the day by penetrating point near foot, drive point toward body and the spine curve seperates the meat and the skin rides on the razor edge and cut fast and simple.
Curved belly for skinning and point for boning out.

We also have our Allhone Speed Strop for razor edge field sharpening and twin diamond stone sharpener for toothy edgees with blade angle guide on handle and replaceable sharpening surfaces, patented.
Available here out of NZ;

Bottom G10. Top is a selected toughened polymer which is a bit tougher than the Victorinox for impact and easier cleaning, not grimy coloured like the Victorinox after use.
Handle on the Pioneer is replaceable. Punch out pin. Tap on new handle and replace pin, tell me of another knife that does that one.
More interested in longevity then the throw aways of similar type, handles can deteriorate over time,.. e.g. the replaced chef knife.

Are these available to the uk and at what cost delivered ?
I’d be looking at the Skoner in the bright orange
About 17.25 pounds Stirling. Depending on exchange rates rises and falls but about that much.
Fluro really is brighter than the image.

New Pioneer linear grip pattern copies the Skoner in fluro. You can see the glow reflecting slightly on the other handles. Pic still doesn't show up the glow.
Very grippy, it's also textured which got lost in the image reproduction.

Yep 14 each side 28 total
We patented the sharpeners specifically for them on the page;

Three different grinding arrangements for whatever is preferred.

The strop with autosol is reliable in that its removes steel but at a rate you don't create the feather by over doing it and finish back on the 1000 for tooth. So you get an acute apex so longer cutting edge.

Of those that like cutting speed the 400/1200.

The blade flat lays on the handle angle flat at 10 degrees with the blade flat angle of 4 degrees you get 14 degrees accurately and don't waste sharpening time at a guessed no guide angle.

Skoner and Pioneer blade geometry for the flat are linear from the plunge line to the point so its consistent steel removal the full length of the edge. My knives have the same factory edge after sharpening. A nice tidy straight edge bevel.

Fluro orange in Carbon now an option for the Pioneer. Not a knife in the world with replaceable carbon polymer handle. Is it tougher. Hell yeas the first one was splitting pine boards friction fitting it, had to adjust design for the fit.
I guess you could us it as a chisel.
