Fertiliser as a fox bait?

Listening to gardeners question time a listener stated that they could not stop foxes digging up areas they’d put fish, blood and bonemeal on so as this comes in handy buckets in pellet form I was thinking would it work spread down a fence line or even around areas that a bait pipe can’t be used on like near a public access area maybe ?

It works too well on a football pitch I have permission on - for exactly the reason that the foxes dig the pitch up and crap everywhere! line marking paint has fish oil in - I originally advised them to put pepper in the paint, that didnt work so took 32 foxes off the ground in a year.

Local farm shop sells dry dog food in small ball nut type shapes…… 20kg bag is £10….. poured into 3 feet of 6” pipe with a Disney themed mouse hole door cut at the bottom a stood on its end and tied to a post Leave it for three or four nights in situ….. seldomly fails to produce multiples. Seems a good balance between the foxes nose and mine!
