Bought a breast bone saw from David for a friend at the end of the doe season. Recall having an issue with security certificate for his website at the time but just called him as I have his number.

I rang a few weeks ago to order a saw and spoke to his wife I believe, she said they weren’t taking any orders currently as Dave was having health issues
Doris died quite a few years ago, so doubt it was her. But, the Moulder might disagree. She got me into pheasant and sausage wrapped in bacon in a red or white wine sauce.

I last heard David was poorly and had been for some time. he must be a good age by now I would have thought, and I don’t see Mark taking over the business as I think his interests lie elsewhere, although I haven’t spoken to him for a long time.

Mark was into the engineering side of the equipment, along with his falconry and longbow exploits.

I did my DSC 1 with Dave Stretton some years back now, found it very good and Dave kept the interest going throughout the course, although he did struggle keeping awake after Mrs Stretton's lovely roast dinners. :D
I remember 1 chap was not best pleased at all when he failed on just about every section, made all the worse when all he did was tell everyone how amazing he was, and he'd shot every calibre ever made. Ploughed up the field in front of the zero targets with his loose fitting scope.

Likewise I did my DSC1 back in 2001ish with David. Had a great time/laugh with the other chaps on the course. David was a fantastic host and yes the food was cracking….happy days.
