Ballistic AE issue

Hope this question is in the right section.

I have had the Ballistic AE on my Apple phone for many a moon. However when I opened it to look up using a Sierra 39gr Bullet in a 204, Sierra did not come up but only factory rounds. I did try pressing 'Bullets' to no avail - it just resorts to 'loads'. I am too old to be tech savvy so can someone please tell me how to solve this

Hi Peter, I’ve also had a recent issue with the app, although not exactly the same, I’m wondering if there are a few bugs in need of a fix / update for iPhone.

For me on selecting trajectory and bullets, the app now only displays bullets by Remington, Speer and Federal. I’ve tried the support email which bounces, and tried to uninstall and reinstall the app, to no avail.

You may have luck if you click ‘about’ > ballistic settings > select open in trajectory > scroll down turn off ‘reloading display in output’, although I’m not confident this will solve it’s worth a try.

You could also try to uninstall and reinstall the app by holding down on the app and selecting remove app. You can then open the App Store search for the programme and reinstall. If you want your favourite loads saved, go into ballistic settings as above and click on sync with iCloud, then when you reinstall the app it will repopulate your favourite loads.

A recent update has f****d it. There’s been little work on it for ages but it appears to have been taken over by Federal Ammunition and their corporate ownership has made it

Time to find a replacement I suppose

Many thanks to you John and Rob for this information. I think I will have to look elsewhere for the info I need. It has been so useful when calculating a drop chart myself and other people.
