Fac renewal

Have you tried your own GP surgery first, or have they refused/priced themselves out of the job?

FWIW, my GP (North Wilts) charged £40 (I think) and it was turned around inside a week.

I used MEDCERT again, They were a little bit more competitive as well £60 + VAT if I remember correctly, My coterminous is away as I write. Been given confirmation of receipt and a late completion' was due last' week so could be a couple of months yet.

BC.

My last GP wanted £120 and said it could take 8-12 weeks so I used shootcert. They were really helpful but like tikkat1x said the hold up wasy GP surgery taking 7 weeks to send them my files.

My new one did it in 3 weeks and charged £60👍

One of my beaters used Medcert,he was happy with the service.
His GP was in Hungerford when the shooting happened there, late 1980's so refuses to sign anything gun related.

I've used both ShootCert and MedCert. ShootCert provided a far better report, and was faster and more transparent, though the customer service has been frustrating as I've spent over a month trying to get someone to reply to a question.

Even with the poor customer service, I think ShootCert is the better service given the superior quality of the report.
