Dropped 2 roe bucks ,last weekend /end of May, both shot within 500yds radius of each other , one was like your pic , the other had just a few

Yes. I have never seen as many on our sheep as there have been so far this year as well
 
The dozen or so deer ive done last 8 weeks or so have been riddled with tick...
And lots of the really tiny little pin prick size bu55ers

For sure and unfortunately there has being a noticeable increase in ticks.
