Ticks in winter

Hi all, Im out on my first solo Fallow stalk tomorrow and after some info please. Has anyone got any experience of tick activity/bites at this time of year? ive had conflicting advice on wearing tick repellent clothing and repellent. Do i go commando as it were, or err on the side of caution?

Wear whatever you want .... you still need to check yourself shortly after... there's always one.

They are all year round now so I would be doing the same as you do in summer. Personally don’t find all these fancy clothing doing anything to prevent ticks so just carry out a good check each night no matter the time of year.
