Here's my 2p worth. I'd say that there were MORE 6.5mm x 54 MS rifles "on the hill" than ever were 7x57 and more .303 Lee Speed with the old 215 grain bullet than the totals of both 6.5mm MS and 7x57 rifles combined. So I dispute the claim that the 7x57 was as widely used as those watching the video might be led to believe. But it is interesting to see the wheel come full circle and the .264" calibre in a medium length cartridge (rather than as in the .264" Winchester) be seen again "on the hill".
