I made a knife for myself.
Blade Dörrenberg PMD-550, that's a PM stainless steel with hardness of almost like cpm rex121, that's a second stainless steel that impressed me with aggression of cutting. Even though it is very hard, the cutting edge is very flexible.
Handle : mokume gane, stainless steel, cooper, walrus, Zitan.
I haven't made a sheath for it, the reason is that I don't want to sell it and with a sheath possibility of it is higher🤣

Thats very nice. How did you heat treat? I only use carbon steels , 1085, 1070 etc. as I only have a rudamentory forge.

I'm using heat treated billets for my knives. Usually custom HT. Most people have never heard of this steel, so I would never try it myself, let alone send it to someone who relies on the manufacturer's data sheets only.
Regards,
Piotr

Ok, I like that. Where do you get them from?
