Knife Completed

Thank god you haven’t got the steel type etched on the blade! 😂
Personally, I think engraving steel type onto a blade is good practice.

I engrave the steel type onto every blade/knife that I make and have done so for what must be getting on for 20 years or so now.

In fact, I would hazard a guess that 20 years ago I was one of the first makers in the UK to start doing so.

Ah so perhaps it’s your “Tradition” then 🙄
Sorry but your comment yesterday on Peter’s post made you come across a little jealous!
As a fellow knife maker is it too much to support each others work without making childish comments about who’s supposed tradition it is etc
Peter has been fantastic throughout the build process and a gentleman along the way.
If I was in the market for another knife I’d absolutely 100% have that man build it.
I’d rather gralloch my deer with a broken bottle than to use a knife made by someone so bitter.
And judging by the number of people who have sent me private messages on this post I’m not alone!
Life is too short to be so narrow minded, self obsessed (call it what you want to) and not just all get on and support each other.
Not everyone will always get on and that’s fine but then just move along without having to have a little girly stab at someone’s work.
That’s me done on this and I won’t make another comment on it, I have more important things to do than spend my life replying to social media bully’s

I suspect that you have the wrong end of the stabilised wood burr, but that is fine, crack on.

Enjoy your knife, it is a nice one.

Oh god, the Knife police will be here in a minute no doubt 🙄
Nice knives but apparently it’s against the law to have the steel type etched on your knives these days! Who knew eh 🤷‍♂️
Best way to get yourself righted is to take said knife out and cut the head off a pheasant or something...show us some blood from use and not a drawer knife.
