A value I have always used with the .243 for many many years also a cracking round @paul o' helped me with :tiphat: not forgetting the "weird front rest" according to Rory
@takbok who modified his 3d printed quad sticks head to a design I drew up (don't ask lol)
Out on "Big Hill" as it has been topped for an Autumn drill looking for foxes but the tell tell shape of a muntjac had me walking down the crispy stubble thinking when to stop and get on the sticks!
This buck was not moving so fast and must have started to get my wind as it was on my right shoulder going his way, a minute watching showed his gate was a little off also his nose was working the wind.
Up on the sticks get settled off went the 95gn round, no need to use the LRF as it is not set up for any round lol as 1"@100 will do :tiphat:
I did ping the buck after showing 223 yds as I was not going to pace it out then back up the hill to the truck :-|
Why his gate was so is in the pictures below, broken/healed n/s front leg.
