Today (October, 16 2021) is the 161'st anniversary of the first lever action repeating rifle. Benjamin Tyler Henry received his patent on this date in 1860. The rifle that every lever action rifle since has been based upon. To say this was a big day in history is to understate the significance of just how this rifle changed the landscape of American history.
