Yes of course, my German one has an American barn post box on a post on the drive with some .45 acp holes in it, I found it in an American flea market years ago.

Hi, I’ll call in the Post Office today and get them to test the package.
The test letterbox opening they use always looks smaller than any I’ve seen on houses.
