I use these. seem fine. had then for just over a year.

I bought some Soshine 3600mAh Protected button top 18650’s last year and they have been spot on.
Also bought a Nitecore D2 Digicharger which gives me the charge state of the batteries. Will also charge other battery types.

i posted this on the nv forum recently.... saves me typing it again......
Shops-wise.... I’d now say ecoluxshopdirect.co.uk having been a fan of Torchy the Battery Boy on eBay for years til I had to get a PayPal refund on 2 pairs of 18650’s that never turned up with no response from Jim/Torchy to any messages from me or P’pal. Shame......I was gutted, I’d always had excellent service from him.
Ecolux trade under 3 websites, the one above and ecoluxbatteries.co.uk and ampsplus.co.uk- 10% discount code is AMPS+5. Worth looking at for genuine chargers too.... loads of fakes out there.

I have wasted heaps buying cheap batteries online. I invested in some from Clive at NV and have not looked back. They seem to last ages in comparison to all others I have tried...
Torchy the battery boy or Ecolux shop - both are reliable and only sell genuine, name brand batteries
Don't waste money on high current batteries designed for vaping - PARDs, and the vast majority of torches don't need anything more than a 5 amp rated battery.
Go for high capacity 3000mah or higher
Also, use a decent charger - the Nitecore D4 is excellent

Flashaholics nitecore batteries are very good.
Be aware that not all 18650 batteries are the same dimension. They can be fatter or thinner, unprotected or protected not to mention flat top or button top.
Its worth checking what type you need... button or flat, Protected or IMR and what the max dia and length it can take.
Nitecore D4 or D2 are excellent chargers too. Charging 4 cells or 2 at a time. I have 3 D4s plus a few.other single cells units... so 16 cells at a time. I have quiet anfew.4 cell units and 2 cells as well.
