1st one of 2026.

Not much detail on my trail cam picture this afternoon but it was worth a look being local, Fallow are MIA so just keep chipping away at the muntjac,
One was feeding over the boundary last time but they come from all directions.
Wind was good only the sound of a yapping jack russell in the distance, there was one in the next field but back in cover and soon gone, 10 mins in to my wait a little bit of heat in the cover to my left got my attention.

Quite enjoying the Hik tbh with the zoom being a real joy to dial in, quick bahh to get him stopped and thoughts of using my very nice Xmas present from
@SA shooter aka Werner who first came ferreting with me back in 2010 from the pigeon watch days but steered me to SD being a far better site.

My fallow are MIA too - just the odd stragglers. Struggling to grasp their movements/seasonality :(
HNY Peter, On the other blocks they show all the time but as I posted the other day you can't be in 2 places at once.

Nice job Tim, new knife put to use, and a good start to another year mate.
All the best for 2026 👍
Cheers
Phil

Well done Timmy, I'm glad you could put the new knife to test. I hope you can keep to the strict instruction and you'll have a sharp knife for a long time me old china.
