just got a new large batch winchester factory ammunition for the 2 x 22 hornets, couldn’t get 45 grn soft point so had to settle for 45 grn hollow points loaded up the weihrauch mags x 2 6 shots bang on the button and good to go :thumb:

loaded the Anschutz 2 x mags 6 rounds in total, rounds won’t cycle at all bullet end won’t rise up because it’s touching the front of the magazine bloody rounds are a smidgen longer than the SP ammo as per pic
so it’s back home for the 204 tonight for mr Reynard, as the nv is on the anschutz and only 4 rounds left of SP

memo to one’s self to check the new ammo earlier :tiphat:

yep
been having a think about, not too over concerned the other hornet will take them nicely nothing lost, not one of my specialities tinkering with ammo. :scared:

I removed the front of my Anny 1730 mag and filed thegrove in it until my 40 Vmax rounds would fit. Gave it a good polish - put the mag back together and you can’t tell it’s been modified and it cycles perfectly.

I didn't know they have an insert. I've done cz527 hornet magazines like that.

I used needle files but I suppose any round file would do. I was careful not to reduce the height of the feed lip on the magazine but I don’t know if it would make much differenc.
