Sold: 223 barrelled action

For sale is my remington 700 barrelled action that has been my foxing rig for several years.
Barrel is in excellent condition.
I have now upgraded to a slightly larger calibre
Varmint barrel screw cut 18x1 at 22 inches.
.223 calibre..
Complete with timney trigger.
I'm looking for £450.

Hi Luke, I bought the rifle second hand several years back so can't testify to how many rounds that it had through it at that time. I probably put no more than120 or so through it before I had Neil Mckillop screw a varmint barrel on for me probably 2 or three years ago and I have only put around 60 rounds through it since then, mostly because I haven't been doing much foxing and I've been using the 6.5 more.
Hope that gives you a better idea of what it's done.

Is the varmint barrel that Neil fitted one he'd taken off another Remington or is it an aftermarket barrel he chambered separately?

Hi luke, it is a remington barrel, not an aftermarket one.
I was told it was nearly new at the time so I would imagine it was taken off of a build from a customers rifle.
