no worries mate, i think its a case of most people wont bother with small amounts, working up loads for small numbers on many makes is not worth the hassle, id sell me the Hornady and give the rest away and cut your losses

Im not an expert on these, when I enquired with seller to the suitability for my .223 foxing rifle ..he assured me all the brass he’d sold me was perfect for my requirement!

Here’s a reply from the seller to my query:

There are lots of rumours and stories out there about brass and loads etc. Probably just like cars and tyres and car oil, fuel etc.

Is LC brass with the effort?

I do all my brass prep work by hand. In an AR is this brass high enough quality to make it worthwhile?

IMI 223 brass: military or not?

I have some new IMI brass I purchased years ago. Annealed necks, headstamp is IMI, 223, REM and no nato markings. I weighed several and compared weights to LC brass. LC brass is on average about .2 grain lighter. I was wondering whether IMI is military because if so I want to reduce starting...

And then there will be a lot of forum chats where they say these are not good brass.
I have used some of it previously and like I say didn't find any issues with them. This will not be my competition brass, for that I use Lapua but at £80 for 100 just for brass I tend to not practice with them much and use cheaper stuff.

Wow it seems I must have paid too much for these when bought these of a member on here last year !

Depends on your application, personally I'm only a saddo about my target loads. Stalking ammo doesn't need to be that good, and I found the sound of my whining as I searched the long grass for my pound+ brass embarrassing.
