if the mag is metal you can very carefully move the lips to hold the round lower a tad lower when pushed forward, this gives (or can give) the bullet tip time to move forward and help with feeding.

I did this with my first 6mm br rifles mag and it was fine, just reload steady and not to fast.

if the mag box has lips like a normal fitting mag then you can try it, do not got flat out at it, just make a few dummy loads up and slowly adjust the mag lips.

No lips I'm afraid Bob, just a cut out in the action body itself that you can't fiddle with.

I have built up a small ramp at the front of the follower this afternoon and tested 30 odd rounds and the problem appears to be cured, although the real test will be in the dark with a couple of sets of eyes in front of me. Fingers crossed...
