Sold: .22LR Anschutz 1710 & MDT LSS Chassis - £1,000

Hi all,

I’m selling my Anschutz 1710 .22LR as I’m getting a .22 conversion for my .308! It’s in an MDT-LSS chassis.

It comes with a Contessa 20MOA Picatinny rail, 2x10rd magazines and 1x5rd magazine and a Picatinny rail underneath the forend. I’ve also changed the bolt handle to a bigger one that has been stippled with a soldering iron for better grip. The stock is a Magpul MOE, and is extendable as it sits on a standard M4/AR15 buffer tube. It has an Ergo M4/AR15 pistol grip that I’ve cut down slightly.

The barrel is 17.5”, and it’s threaded 1/2x28. The thicker thread protector in the first photo is slightly blemished but I'll include another that's brand new and wasn't left out at the range by me...!

The gun bag is included.

Other than the stock, it’s pretty much the same rifle as in this review (only difference I can see is my barrel is blued not stainless!) - Gun test: Anschutz 1710 HB G Kelbly .22 LR precision

It’s incredibly accurate - with RWS R50 it’s capable of 5rd groups under 1” at 100m!

I’m after £1,000 including RFD fees please.

That's nice . I've been after the mdt stock for my 1517 hmr.
Would this stock fit ? Lol

Regards

I am not sure about this model 1710, but I've had a walnut-stocked 1710 for many years, and it is a truly accurate rifle. I can take rabbits out to 125 yards and I'm not a brilliant shot.

The 1700 series has been Anschutz's flagship model for as long as I can remember one of the best rifles out there.

Thanks! If your 1710 has a flag style safety, this one is the updated version. But yes, insanely accurate and a lovely, crisp two-stage trigger!

Yes, mine has the good old flag safety. All three of my Anschutz 17 series have that safety not deal I'll agree, but they work. The three are .22, 17HMR and.22Hornet. All have been reliable and accurate rifles for many years.
