Shot a good few deer with them now (mainly fallow and reds) since settling on that load, nothings gone further than usual (DRT or 10/15 yards) and every bullet has exited
Sako powered Blade were the only one of 4-5 factory rounds that worked in my Franchi horizon. Used federal coppers, Nosler and hornady and none seemed to hold a group but the blades. Unsure if this is cause franchi are owned by benelli who are owned by Beretta who owns sako/tikka as well? But Sako bullets have always grouped better in the rifle compared to other brands. Might just be bias though?
I use tTSX 80 grain and LRX 95 grain both Barnes. my .243 is 1-8 twist . The old 1-10 .243win twist will maybe struggle some with copper , i think the 95 might not work at all.
