243 second hand market dead

Im in the market to change my deer/foxing rifle have got the chance at a sako 75 243

Went to 2 local rfds to sell my used howa 243 and point blank “we dont buy 243 because of the ban”
Is this the same story with anyone else

the market is wrong! I’ll get in trouble for this, but coupled with something bigger for bigger deer, a 243 is ideal for roe, small deer and foxes, even with copper. With the number of rifles about more ammo choices will appear.

If you already have a 243 just keep it, if you dont buy one second hand at ridiculously cheap prices.

Im waiting for the ban to kick in , then i'm going to bag myself a real bargain , a lovely classic .243 something like a DAVID LLOYD .243 CLASSIC
All the suckers selling there .243s thinking there be "no good " because there RFD or there mate told them

that would require a U turn and a fight by the shooting organisation to try and bring it about and so far it looks like none of them have the balls to even try.

I just added another .243 win . 1-8 twist brand new . 100 grain LRX from Barnes , 80 grain is now legal with copper . Lead Ban has been stopped also because there is no alternative for what might be one the most popular 6mm or 243

It’s why I have 3 deer rifles.
The 243 is perfect for still days and long shots, but when it’s claggy the swede or 308 come out.
My 243 is going nowhere as it’s a great calibre and if I need to I will simply stick a 1:8 barrel on it.
