Wanted: 243 setup (Parker Hale?)

Evening all.
Following a chat with my FEO, it looks like my variation for a .243 should go ahead within the next month or so, so looking for a 243 setup.
Can't justify buying new (kids to feed etc)

Doesn't need to be pretty or new, but would be good to be able to hit a golf ball at 100yds.
Must have moderator, scope optional but mounts and rings, or easily obtainable rings.
Looking along the lines of P-H 1200 etc.

Ideally in the SW of England to save faff on RFD transfers.

RFD in Dorchester has a 1200 with mod, and bases at £375, so looking around this budget.

Big ask I know, but worth a try?

you wont go wrong with a p.h.1200 my first rifle <new p.h safari 1200 in308 cal in 1978, £80!!>never missed a beat and only sold it as the estate did not want 308 being used on the ground so dropped to a 243. wish i had kept it .
