I’ve been playing about a bit developing a load for 6mm, 89gn Merlin’s from Virtus and very happy with accuracy so far
Go to accuracy load currently 38.5gn RS60 with 39gn marginally behind it.
Haven’t chronographed it yet but if anyone has quickload and fancies putting in a 22 inch 8 twist .243 with that load and bullet I’d be interested to see what it comes out with and then I can chrono it when I get time.
Thought it might be a useful ballpark start for people using the Merlin’s
