25-06 lead free

One not mentioned so far is the 102 yew tree bullet. Lathe turned and made in Wiltshire. They’ve been very accurate. I’ve also tried the 101 LRX in terms of copper. I’ve gone back to lead however. The ES was huge with the copper bullets in my 25-06. For example the yew tree bullet would be around 0.25 - 0.75 with every load during development, but ES was ~ 40-80 fps across the board. The lrx was similar but not as pronounced with less accuracy. I find this unacceptable even though it doesn’t matter at 100 yards. I’m using Sierra 110 tipped game king with n555 now and it’s reliable. Anyway give the yew tree bullet a try they shoot well. Spending £1 Per bullet is not fun though.

Well that’s 2x recommendations for Yew Tree then.
Make that three. They're brilliant in my rifle. But then I did lend it to Richard when he was developing the bullet, a requirement of his when I pestered him into producing it! A consistent, well thought out bullet from a UK maker who's always willing to go out of his way to help you. His bullets feed all the rifles I have in calibres he makes.
Edit - I should probably clarify that I barely know the guy. I've just been extremely happy with his service and products.

HI i use fox as well even though my 2506 shoots 120 gr lead well i would give the fox a go easy to get grouped to my experience and bc of their frame they arecrelativley short for a 100 gr lead free option. so maybe they work well in a faster twist barrel . On the plus side is as well that they are not all that expensive
