Max load for 3600 fps would be a compressed charge of 62gr RS 62, 95gr ttsx, you'd need a faster powder to get the MV that you are after for 110gr ttsx and above
What ranges are you usually shooting them at, I wonder?I’ve loaded the ttsx for 20 years on 3 calibres and NEVER driven them at 3000fps and killed more deer than you could dream of!
listen to those who know and don’t get sucked in to all the go light and drive them fast BS on the internet, reloading is an adventure, make you own path instead of being a sheep
I now shoot 7x57 and use 150gn barnes ttsx at 2650fps and guess what,falls over!

When I started to load Barnes ttsx first in the 6.5x55 then 270, then 300 win mag there was not the load data there is today, I was buying bullets direct from Utah via cliffs gunsmithing as they were not readily available in the UK at that present time , I was laughed at for loading copper at £1.50 a round back then people thought I was mad!
I treated them exactly the same as I would a normal lead projectile, and I do exactly the same today!
I base my knowledge on experience, not by the Internet!
Light copper bullets going fast has never been necessary, and personally, I think it’s a waste of powder.

I was asking regarding the 150gr/2650fps, really?
If the .270 load is the 130gr/2900fps previously mentioned, then that might be considered a lightish bullet going reasonably fast? Certainly fast enough for a reasonable point-blank range for the ranges you've described.
My lead .270 is 140gr/2900ish fps with N165 for a PB range of about 200yds. A few years ago I worked up a similarly-accurate copper load with N160 - 130gr/2950ish which I've yet to shoot a deer with, as it hasn't yet been necessary to make the switch. I'm sure they'll work fine, though.
I'd have both loads going faster if the faster loads had in testing been as precise - but they weren't. The extra little bit of powder wouldn't have been a deal-breaker.

The 7x57 I’ve only had 18 months or so, old calibre heavy bullet I won’t shoot that over 200, if I can’t within that range the bugger can stay there!
To be fair the 7x57 I had to do a fair bit of ball scratching over, as it only has 19” barrel, on a clean barrel as I always do accuracy was easy sub 0.5 moa but managed to get a velocity i was happy with that will do what ever I want it to do.
I have 100% confidence in Barnes as that’s my personal favourite copper projectile, I’ve used it a very long time and it’s performed flawlessly, and it’s never let me down.

Barnes say ttsx will expand/work at 1800 fps and recommend 1900 fps as a minimum impact speed. My 270 shoots at 2850 the bullet is travelling at 1900+ at 400 yards more than too much for me on living creatures. I've not shot a lot of deer with copper but enough to know that Lee is right and you don't need barrel burning speeds.

I started reloading just over a year ago on my .270 and .243. I have found N160 to work well with 120gr Sako powerhead blades. I'm getting getting just under 3050 fps which is approx. 100 fps second faster than the factory rounds in my 20" barrel rifle.
