Does anyone reload .300 win mag with 165gr TTSX using RS70?

About to work up a load with these and then make a decision if I will use the TTSX or stick with the 180gr accubond that I’m trying at the moment?

Many thanks.

Not quite that load but I reload 148gr Yew Tree with Elcho 17 / RS60 - fast, flat and accurate. If the burn rate and velocity with the 165 and RS70 is good then I’m sure you’ll be just fine. The Barnes TTSX bullets are excellent.

I don't have a load yet.
But im also about to start development with exactly the same combo.
I've been using 150TTSX which perform amazingly, but are a bit too damaging on smaller bodied animals. Hoping slowing them up a touch and going a bit heavier will have same dropping power and blood trails, but a bit less meat damage would be nice.
Please update this thread with your results, I'll do the same

Cheers

I’m using new Nosler brass and federal magnum primers.
One of the benefits of a couple of trips to the USA this year is being able to stock up on certain items.
Now if only the slowed me to bring primers back with me🤣🤣🤣
