.300 WM reloading

Does anyone load the .300 WM with 180gr accubonds? What’s your experiences and what have you found?
A bit of advice here may save a bit in powder as these WM sure take a lot of powder🤣

I am looking for a start point and for what powders I can get locally to me, initially veering towards RS70 and whatever magnum primer I can get?

I understand the usual caveats and will be working whatever load up that I decide upon.

24” Tikka T3x super varmint is the gun that will be used.

Thanks all.

RS60 and 149gr Yew Tree is a potent combination. I note that Reload Swiss list bullet data from 123gr up to 185gr in this powder. For other loads I settled on N165 which should be readily available.

Used 180 grn accubonds with N165, will try to find load notes when home. They shot well.

Currently developing a load for 300WM with N560 for Fox 180 grn so I can use in Scotland too if required as they insist on lead free.

RS70, 200 gr hornady heads, 67.5gr with a bit of jump from memory need to check notes, but put 5 bullets through a hole smaller than a 5 pence piece.

That’s much appreciated, thank you.

Looks like RS76 could be good if I can find a reliable supplier, and if not then I have a few other options.

Thanks everyone for your insights, always good to see the variation and how it’s never just the one answer that fits all.

I have the same rifle in the same caliber. I have gotten great accuracy with H4831, H1000, and Ramshot Grand with that same bullet. You might check those burn rates with what you can source over there. My only complaint with the SV is that all loads must be seated to a COAL of 3.34” or they won’t fit in The magazine.
