It actually balances quite well mate as it’s weight biased towards the rear due to having a fairly heavy McMillan stock and bigger scope as well as being short. although it’s by no means a lightweight it carries well.
The moderator is a hardy stealth aluminium thing so actually sleeves back over the barrel a fair way and doesn’t weigh a great deal. Good sound attenuation for the weight though.

What is the best barrel length for a 308. Is 20 inch a good length or would 22 inch be better. What twist rate would be good for the coming non lead ammunition. Thanks

Depends on what you want to use it for…
I have an 18” barrel on my .308 and have never felt like it was a disadvantage to a longer barrel for normal woodland/lowland deer stalking.
