Hi received brass not happy
If it’s not military brass then you must of been useing a hot/factory round
Big crimp around the pocket!
Wouldn’t have bought them if I knew that
impossible to prime without more work
If not unusable
p.m. please to get this sorted out

To be fair, all Hornady factory brass has a primer crimp (my experience has been Hornady Whitetail, TAP and Superformance).
I use the case mouth chamfer tool to knock the crimp off and have no dramas once that's done.
Pretty easy to sort out and doesn't take an age.

Yes I’ve used Hornady brass for over 10 years never had a problem
If I purchased it has military ammo
Then I’d expect it
But selling crimped brass & not stateing it
Is dangerous imagine a primer going off in your face trying to jam it in /unaware

Just to clear this up, I have offered to send a full refund this morning as soon as i saw Petes pm from last night. I originally bought the brass off here and it has been unused and untouched since then, no skull duggery intended and I don't appreciate being accused of intentionally selling something that is dangerous.

Gareth has offered me a full refund,
and as a goodwill gesture I have offered to keep them to keep them
Il make use of them
Apologies

I think thats all sorted then lol
Slight overlook on both behalfs
No problem
Cheers

The factory Lapua loads have crimped primers- I had a load of them and reamed the crimp out once I realised the problem.

Perfectly good brass but requires this extra prep step first reload.
