.338 Lapua Magnum Brass

Just wondering where you guys get your .338Lapua Magnum brass also does anyone know where you can get cheap or reasonably priced brass?

Lots of places do Lapua 338LM brass. Sportsman Gun Centre, 1967 Spud, McAvoy Guns to name 3. Tends to run £255-260 which is reasonably priced.

I am guessing that's military brass? I don't know if they stake the primers on military 338 or what quality the brass is. Maybe someone can help there.
So long as the brass is decent quality the depriving isn't too much of an issue, would just need the pocket reaming after removal.

No crimp in Lapua, I use this along with others without issue.

I spoke to AJS today, they indeed aren't staked primers and are Lapua headstamped.

I'd be tempted considering it'll take me a little while to get the right technique when necking them up. Id feel much better ruining a £1 case over a £2.50 case!

The only .45-120 I have (or know of) is the 31/4" Sharps Straight which is rimmed, so nowhere near.
The cases are readily available too.
Another bit of froth perhaps ...?

I said think of 45-120 in a bolt action and you'll be close, not that I'd be housing a 45-120 in a bolt action. Now if only there was a rimless case that when necked up had equal case capacity to 45-120
