Wanted: .50 Cal BMG Die & FMJ Bullets/Heads

Looking to make a few inert .50 cal rounds for display

If anyone has got a few (5-10ish) FMJ bullets and/or a seating die or die set

I looked at buying them (and are still considering it) but I am planning on doing more than just the .50 cal so it’s probably gonna get expensive if I just buy them in and I already have the rest of the reloading kit

Do you have a press big enough for .50BMG Dies? only a small handful of presses are capable due to the length of the case and bigger die thread? If you want the dies i know someone who has a set but he wants £700 for the dies and press as a lot

Thanks for letting me know but I think so
I have two presses the are too big for the standard (7.62 and 5.56) dies but they work with an adapter that screws in so I’m guessing the 50 BMG will fit them

The threads should fit then but do check the height, my .50BMG Press is around double the height of my Rock chucker press which as you say has the screw in adapter, another concern is the case holder is different to the ones you slide in and out mine has an bolt holding it in!

Lee classic cast press is your best option. I have one and does 50cal with no problems

Seems like a VERY expensive way to make a few inert rounds. Perhaps better to get a 50cal shooter to make you a few up if you supply the components?
