Am looking for some advice , tips for a 50 th birthday hunting trip possibly boar but maybe with the option of other species but heard mixed reports on boar abroad and people getting shafted , don’t really fancy Africa but would go anywhere in Europe to mark the occasion looking for a memorable experience would be interested to hear of any of you guys who’ve done something similar and avoid any pitfalls etc
Thanks in advance
Tommy

Hi Tusker, do you have any details ref Estonia I’ve done a few different country’s but not there? Sorry to high jack your thread Tommy.

Mark boulton runs a couple of driven boar trips to france each year. Its a larged fenced estate near tolouse. I went last december with a mixed part of about 13 people he out together. Was a good trip, good food, good company and i think everyone shot boar. Well organised event consisting two days each having one large drive. Myself I shot 4 boar and a mufflon, all included in the original agreed price.

May I ask who you used ? Sounds like a good idea !
The first time we went we were with Baltictrophy.com the last twice we hunted with my friend from Finland and he organised it. I have sent him a message to ask the name of them.

How can I bookmark this thread? Not at the 50 mark yet but time to start planning, I like the Europa idea in order to manage costs, I looked at Alaska but the costs were too high

Hi,
What’s your budget/preference, we go on various trips to various destinations, Czech , Poland, where we shootdriven boar, red hinds and calves, sika hinds and calves, muflon females and young, and also Morocco and Turkey where it’s just wild boar, but all quite different, prices vary from €2,500 to €3,500.
Hope this helps
I have found the place and they have a website. Paepealse Turismitalu. it is only an hour and half from Tallin. Tallin is a nice place to visit good restaurants etc.

Did you share bedrooms and bathrooms? Was it self catering? Thanks

Not really set a budget just want to do something different not really bothered about shooting red calves sika calves can do that here quite easily through mates
Don’t fancy Morocco or turkey 🇹🇷 boar 🐗 seems good idea but heard loads of horror stories so was possibly looking to combine it with some other species to hedge bets so to speak as would be with a small group of mates as well
