The Full Length Sizer Die features a Zip Spindle, with a series of light threads cut on the spindle and spindle collet. The seating die also applies a roll crimp to secure the bullet in the case.

I have a couple of sets of Hornaday Dies and have had problems with the shaft containing the depriming pin slipping in the full length resizing die when I try to size cases . I just can't get the collet to hold the shaft tight enough . This has been with 243 and 22Hornet dies. I have not had this problem with Lee dies although they use a similar system. I currently have about 50/50 Lee and RCBS die sets . The Lee's are not finished as well as other dies IMO but they are very serviceable. I recently bought the Ultimate set for my Creedmoor.
