What kind of over-barrel mod were you using on a barrel that short and a hand guard that long?

Has the barrel been reproofed after being chopped, or does it still have the original proof marks?

Was using a Hausen mod, might be wrong spelling. It didn’t get re proofed, was told it wasn’t needed, should still have the original proof marks I think.

I need to measure the barrel as I am now questioning if it is 19” or 20”

IIRC it doesn't have to be reproofed if you want to keep on using it, but it does if you want to sell it. I would check with your FLD, as you may be breaking the law here. Hopefully I'm wrong! But worth a check to be sure!
