.308 or 6.5, both are great calibres, though the 6.5 will outshoot the .308 in all instances…….

You can still use a 6.5 creed at Bisley

I checked with them on Friday

Yeah Bisley is ok and will remain so; also if the MOD range is passed for .338LM then 6.5 CM (come to that any 6.5mm cartridge) can be used on them, as the 6.5CM falls well within the range safety trace for .338LM. DIO is working to redo the range safety traces on ranges that are in use by the MOD on a regular basis.

Not true unfortunately , i shoot at Hythe and ALL 6.5 ammunition is banned , god only knows when this situation will change.
