Evening All,

I looking for some personal feedback on some long range 6.5 creedmoor heads touse with RS60 powder. Will be in a Tac A1

So far iv seen people recommending the hornady 147g ,140g match and the 139 Sierra match kings.

Range will be 100m to 100m

Cheers

I think he is suggesting you use correct and accurate nomenclature rather than ignorant slang but being a bit coy about it

Haha well that's got to be a new recored for being called ignorant on a new forum.

They are just fine out to 1000m

After that you are in the transonic world and they (or rather I) struggle a bit for precision

I gave the same rifle, with 24"barrel, and use the 143 ELD-X heads with RS60. I tried the 147 ELD-M heads, but just couldn't get a load as accurate as the 143's heads.

2.800", and 42gr worked for me, but you'll have to see what your barrel likes, and start lower, and work up.

Nothing wrong with your question, Although I can't help you I knew exactly what you meant including the missing 0 but some people just can't help themselves and are very unhelpful which you will find out in time, Good luck in your search anyway.

Precision when dealing with anything and especially firearms is very important. Lazy language can result in a not hoped for outcome!

OK You're a new guy. There is no such thing as heads re rifle cartridges other than as I noted above. What you are referring to are are called bullets. Occasionally projectiles. Never heads. Heads relate to skulls, RN toilets, Glens etc
Bullet head is somthing iv regularly seen on websites and in the description of Bullets.

As above I'm aware of the make up of ammunition and tbh ment to bullet heads. But didn't know once you post here there is no way to change the title.
