Shot a couple of bucks at the start of the season . . . Generally speaking I don't bother arseing around boiling out heads, but quite liked the irregular shape of this one and the pearling . . It was just out of velvet so instead of trying to artificially add colour to the antler I just bleached the whole bloody lot . . . .a taxidermist i'm not, but i'm quite happy with it. . .:-D

Nice heads guys:)

got one just like that a few week back uncle buck. Gona give it a bash colouring it up as well. Hopefully I can get it kinda natural looking.

I would try to keep the top of mouth bone in contact like uncle bucks and buy some hydrogen peroxide paste of ebay where its cheap and after boiling apply to skull to dry in with for a nice clear white skull, I tend not to bleach skulls. nice head though Atb Rob

Rob,
I've never used the paste always the liquid salon services (cover skull in cotton wool or Kitchen roll cut into strips)
find it works just fine.

Rgds, Buck.

Ps. have only boiled the skull out have still to bleach & colour.

Just been looking on flea bay for peroxide paste, which one do you buy?

regards, Jez

Sorry I cant help you out there Jez as I said above, have only ever used liquid which works just as good.

Atb, Buck.
