Wanted: 6x47 Reloading Brass and Dies

You do know you can form your own with 6.5,×47 brass , you just neck it down with the 6 /47 dies

One hell of a calibre, its expanded my expectations of what accounts as accurate!
You'll only find 6.5 brass and that seems scarce just now, obviously lapua, paterson do it as well but its pricey.
I have heard of folks reworking creedmoor brass but it sounds like effort.
Im happy to share some of my experiences loading this if needed, all the best.

I to run this calibre, it’s pretty basic to reload necking down 6.5 brass. But I would advise to neck turn myself, you have to do it once. After necking down from 6.5

Agreed the neck turning is a total faff, but you only have to do it once then your brass is sorted

I neck turn for 4 other cartridges. I'm just tying to avoid a 5th. Reloading solutions have some 6x47 brass in supposedly, I'll give them a try.

I had a look at this, peatersons, i think they must be the only ones to do a 6x47. Looks pricey though??
I managed to get a stash of lapua before it became scarce and neck it down from 6.5.
I have to neck turn though due to the dimensions of my chamber.

I bought Peterson 6x47 brass, it is working well so far I must say.

I have also played with using 6.5cm brass, the sako stuff works well after annealing but Hornady just crushed.

Out of curiosity, how is a Forster F/L set the "wrong" set?

Also have to say that I use those Forster dies and really like them, just wish these had come up for sale when I was looking for some!
