** Excludes scope.
A 'Customised' Husqvarna 640 from 1947 in 8x57 JS (.323 bore).
Barrel shortened to 16.5 inches & threaded 14x1
Re-proof in 2014
Timney trigger with side safe
Replacement PH stock
Replacement of bolt tail piece for one without flag safety (I have the original)
Fitted with Leupold, Windage Adjustable bases & 30mm rings.
c/w:
Aimsport .338 cal moderator (the longer one that comes in half and can be used in full or in half for the maximum length reduction (I have thread nuts to do both).
Quantity of factory ammunition (185gn GECO) and some reloaded 160gn Barnes - however many I have left at the time. Probably @100.
Some bullets for reloading
A stack of brass (many hundreds) from new, to many times fired.
Reloading dies (not Forster - just in Forster box)
Described previously (not by me) as the 'ultimate pragmatists rifle'! A very inexpensive, accurate, handy, rifle. It's ideal for woodland work especially if you don't want things to run too far.
The larger bore diameter handles shortening very well and in that guise, out-performs many common alternatives.
Remarkably accurate (for a 77 year old rifle).
£400 + RFD delivery if required.
