Firstly I'm only shooting Rabbits / Rats & the occasional Pigeon.
I have a large permission shooting ground based in Keynsham, I've returned to shooting after being asked to clear these pests; An impossible task I'm happy to say.
I use a sub 12 Walther Rotex M8, which combined with an ATN Thermal scope does a good job.
