A brief introduction from Sweden

Hi, my name i Marcus, I'm a swedish hunter with some experience of traditional Highland hill stalking. Oh deer
I greatly enjoy the challenge of stalking in open hill ground and the landscapes of the Highlands.

In Sweden I mainly hunt wild boar and roe deer in driven hunts and am also involved in population management and protection hunting.

In regards of visiting Scotland, I am primarily interested in hind and calf management stalking rather than stag trophies. For me the experience of the hills, the stalk and good deer management are more important than trophies, the long flight kind gets the meat spoiled anyways. :)

Physically fit and comfortable walking long days in the hills. I also have a background in practical rifle shooting through IPSC competitions and maintain safe and disciplined rifle handling.

Outside of hunting I work as a 112 system development manager in Sweden. I also serve as a part-time military reservist and am an avid fly fisherman, mainly fishing for trout out in the open water where I live.

Based in Sweden but happy to travel. Ideally looking for 2–3 days of traditional hill stalking in the Highlands with accommodation on the estate during fall/winter, but thats going into classifieds later on.

Regarding the calibers.. mainly using an old 12 gauge Remington for roe, Sako 75 S/S 30-06 for boar, competing in IPSC with .223 wylde and .22lr in my DDM4V7Pro and 9mm Glock.

Best regards
Marcus
