A few of my favourite pictures...

great pics!

the one for me is the dead stag on the grass.......it shows that even in death the stag is still so majestic in it's beautiful surroundings, And that the actual stalking is only part of the highland experience. Even when the cessation of death has occured...Beauty still lives on!

Hi Guys,

Thnaks for the great feedback, ill sort another selection out soon to post, I've had a lot of messages asking what equipment I use when out and about.

I use Canon pro gear only.

I use 2 camera bodies, both are 1 series models, one is 10.7 million pixel and shoots 10 frames per second and the other is 16.2 million taking 4 frames per second, both cameras are water proof dust proof and very rugged.

Lenses range from 17mm to 600mm, all are L series, they are waterproof, dust proof and rugged also.

Lenses are covered in camo material as most are white, cameras are wrapped in material sometimes as the shutter can be loud whilst out stalking, you'd be surprised how loud it is when there is not a sound anywhere else.

for support, I use bean bags, tripod or mono pods.

Any other questions let me know!

Cheers

Those lovely photo are why we are all hooked on deer stalking.

Where did you take those photos of those big reds

Simon

Hi Simon,

Thanks!

The reds were taken int he New Forest years ago, before all the press found out about them and hundreds of people tuned up and ruined it!

Good old days they were!

Cheers
