A much underrated rifle

Can any of the ruger no.1 shooters on here recommend a scope that you can mount on a no.1 without craining your neck forwards like a giraffe ? I find the back mount limits how far back the scope can come.

a. Burris variable power long tube
b. Swarovski Habict variable power long tube
c. Weaver variable of high mag' fixed power long tube

Redfield, Conetrol, S&K or Apel scope rings & mounts, The rings can be found with with an extention rigger that can be orientated fore or aft.

Swift and Burris made some scopes with the adjustment machinery further forward on the tube, whereas most scope today put the knobs in the middle of the tube.

Leupold and Swift straight tube scope will usually fit further back than most scopes with bells.

Warne makes some QR rings for the Ruger integral bases, which are nice for using the open sights on the No.1 and M77.
