If it’s for an AI rifle (AW, AT, AX etc.), which it appears to be from the photos, it will not work with the chassis system as the mags are different size/shape.

That depends on the chassis system to be fair, there are several that are compatible with AW mags (obviously the action needs to be too)
Can only say that I cannot use my brothers AT double stack 10 round mags in my short action AICS stock - I have tried as I hate the damned great 10 round single stack AICS mags!!
Your action isn't machined to take double stack mags then. It's a more popular modification in America, I've never seen it here before.

I’m pretty sure that I tried it in the bare chassis & it didn’t fit - maybe I need to have another look.
