Advice for Moderators

Ok i know its a can of worms but i'm after x2 mod's 1 for 243 Browning A bolt and 1 for a Tikka T3 hunter 308 , I have been told they are not interchangable screw thread wise and also calibre so come loads of advice which ? why? and roughly cost?

My suggestion would be (if possible) to change the .243 thread so that it is the same as the .308 thread. Then I would buy one AU-SL5 in .30 cal. I use this mod on both my rifles at present.
