Hey all,
after a lot of reading I'm still unsure how to attach a BT34 picatinny rail to the forend of the R8 ultimate/pro succes stock and I need your knowledge to shed some light on this topic.
1) Should I drill through where the foremost screw of the schnabeltip sits? Don't know if the angle between the inside of the stock and the rail would pose a problem for the bolt and nut.
2) I could drill two holes and 'bracket' this first screw but the rail wouldn't quite be 100% flush against the stock because of the schnabel.
3) Move a little more back and drill 1 hole through the neoprene insert. Maybe a little less stable, and this means if I screw up I have to replace the entire front stock and not only the schnabeltip.
I'll try to take pictures if desired when I'm home from work
thanks
Toby
