After a copy of Neils Sondergaard’s book

Hi all, can anyone help with a copy of Neils Sondergaard working with deer dog? I can swap it for a copy of Tracking dogs finding wounded deer by John Jeanneney, borrow it or purchase it…. Currently training up my 16 week old Korthal Griffon, not my first deer dog but I am keen to get all the info possible. Training coming on well to date.

I own the Tracking Dogs by John Jeanneney (currently loaned out to a F&LS ranger) and have borrowed Neils Sondergaard's book and enjoyed and learned from both. I would say Neils book is more tailored to your Kothal Griffon so highly recommend that.

Send me your email and I will forward the programme I have followed with my DD's from 15 weeks old as were imports. I would also buy scent shoes if you don't have them already and have you considered the UKDTR mentor scheme?

Thanks for that. I will PM my email. Yes I have scent shoes and moved onto them from skin/liver drags a few weeks ago. I have also joined UKDTR mentor scheme, which is excellent. Getting a copy of NS’s book is just me trying to read and absorb as much as I can. Thanks again.
