Small update. NV picatinny rail is now cerakoted black to match the side rails. Scope wrapped.
Shot at Chobham end of March and managed to get out to target 19 at 1238 yards which is the furthest ive been with it to date. Still on factory ammo Hornady 143 ELD-X so it's doing pretty good.

Hi, great looking rig. Is that a 26" barrel? Have you measured the muzzle velocity at all?

Last time I ran it over the chrono was in March last year but still on the same ammo

Similar to the values I got using Sako 140gr Gamehead factory rounds through my 6.5 CM TRG which also has a 26" barrel at 2657 fps. My chosen handload using 143 gr ELDX rounds over 41.8gr N555 (so reasonably mild) were showing a slightly higher 5 shot average of 2717 fps. The highest load I went to during testing, 43gr, resulted in a 5 shot average of 2859 fps.

A friend of mine has an AIAT in 6.5cm same as mine. Same barrel, length etc
He hand loads 42gn of rs60 and gets 2857fps same 143 ELD-X heads. The difference over my factory rounds is quiet incredible in terms of accuracy.

I havent done any groups. Just a zero confirmation and then on to whatever targets we are going for.
