I use Gemini (part of my android phone)

Microsoft also have it (copilot), as well as the likes of ChatGPT or Grok

You can also use AI to tweak the pics. Tell it to place you in a different scene, doing something else, holding something, etc...

No you're missing the point. It can make fake things, anything you can dream of. Not just churn out reality photos

whilst i'm largely against banning stuff and firmly believe the government should have a very light touch in our day to day lives i do agree with you here but rather than ban it make it law that it has to have AI generated in bold red letters so we can be informed and ignore it because currently it's being used for nefarious political means
